I'm inspired to post this because I just watched The Shawshank Redemption and it was a fantastic movie.

This is a topic for general discussion of television and movies! Do you prefer comedy or gritty reality?? What's your favorite genre? Post away!

I like sci-fi and comedy mostly. I recently bought a boxset of the X Files and not long finished watching all nine seasons.

I like comedy and bad horror films.

I also like watching Steven Universe. I've been watching it since December 2013. I think it's a pretty cool show. It's better than most new Regular Show episodes sometimes, but I still do like Regular Show.

SU is very story arc-y. I didn't expect that at first when I started watching it.

I rented disc 3 of the Spider-Man show from the 1960s. (disc 1 was unavailable and disc 2 would have to wait a long time.)

I've only seen two episodes on the disc so far. Typical 60's animation values plus Jonah Jameson has an obnoxious voice. I haven't got much to say really. This disc has the last 3 eps. of Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2. They switch production houses after Season 1, so I know it's going to be different.

I'm a sci-fi and fantasy type of a dude, through and through. Not only with TV and movies but with games and books as well. I don't dislike other genres per se, but when I don't have a lot of time on my hands, I default to what I like the most which are those two genres.

I finished The Sopranos late last year. I wonder what the spambot that posted above this thinks about that.
